When we have decided to develop small business websites for our customers we started to choose appropriate CMS to serve the functions. There are a lot of cool CMS systems like Drupal, Joomla and so on, but small projects require lite and easy to use and develop solutions, so after some investigation time we found well-known engine which is not so CMS for articles but blog engine. Yes, you know it's Wordpress. Basically, Wordpress is for news websites, but after easy and simple tuning it can be used for article websites since it supports all the features but differs in presentation. Having a lot of different plugins it allows developer to implement standard and expected features in the way customer familiar with (because there are a lot of Wordpress blogs in the net and everyone feels free with them). So our team started to use Wordpress for small projects and this makes our projects even simpler and industry-standard solutions which is easily deployed and scalable. This website is done in 1 day, and 1 more day was spent for customization by customer's requests (without design).
