Qlist.de
The purpose of Qlist.de is public newsletter publishing, archiving and gathering. It includes additional user services like blogs and galleries. Our customer invented new slogan for the service - mailblogging. This means that this service incorporate newsletter delivery facilities with blog publishing. The system was built as integrated solution, thus it includes also user galleries for bright pictures.
The system designed to support great number of subscribers and newsletters. Newsletter facilities involves clustered smtp delivery with extremely fast delivery time. The software is designed to be scalable on multiple servers. The system is implemented using Perl language and MySQL database as data storage with support of mysql clustering facilites. The project is not in run right now because the customer had changed his strategic view on ecommerce business.
The system was developed specially for Schnaeppchenjagd.de GmbH, Aalen, Germany.
